Tuesday June 28 is looking like a hot day for betting edges in Major League Baseball.

Phillies

While there is no advantage in this series of late per se (Philadelphia is 6-7 versus the Braves), there is a pitching edge in Tuesday's Braves vs. Phillies game, we here at Gambling911.com believe.

Zach Wheeler has been especially impressive versus Atlanta batters, where he is currently .193 in 181 at bets.

He'll come into this game with a chip on his shoulder having just concluded one of his worst outings of the season.

On the other side, Braves anticipated starter, Charlie Morton, has been beat up badly by Phillies batters.  Some of Philadelphia's star players have hit well off of him including Alec Bohm, Bryce Harper, J.T.Realmuto and Odubel Herrera.

Padres

San Diego is 9-2 against the Diamondbacks in their last 11 meetings.

The Padres slated starter is Sean Manaea, who has just one win in seven starts and should be in full desperation mode here.

Manaea is also 0.99 versus Arizona batters, allowing just 10 hits in 64 at bats.

Only one of those was a home run from Jordan Luplow, who's got 10 home runs on the season thus far but is averaging a .164 ERA.

The Diamondbacks likely starter is Zac Gallen.  He looks better than Manaea, at least on paper.  With the Diamondbacks playing at home, Gambling911.com anticipates a pretty good price on San Diego.

Blue Jays

Toronto is 10-4 versus Boston in recent games.  Tuesday's matchup should feature some top pitching.

On paper Michael Wacha looks like the better starter.  He's 6-1 with a 2.34 ERA.

Wacha is also .173 versus Blue Jays batters, allowing just one homer in 51 at bats.

Wacha is coming off two wins and Gambling911.com would typically expect a reduction in play if not for his outstanding record versus Toronto batters.

Ross Stripling is 4-2 with a 3.08 ERA for Toronto.  He's also coming off a win and has gone 4-1 in his last five starts.

But Stripling has allowed 24 hits in 95 at bats versus Red Sox players.  Six of those were home runs. Xander Bogaerts is 4-for-9 against Stripling with one homer and an RBI.

You'll probably want to pass on this game Tuesday while looking for opportunities with the Blue Jays in other matchups of this series.
