As of June 23, the Rockies were 34-37 so far on the season and hosting this series in Colorado, which typically makes one think of the OVER.  In a series with the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Rockies do start some pitchers who have not fared particularly well against Arizona lineup.

The Rockies Starting Pitchers:

Eddie Butler (2-4, 6.26) – THURSDAY JUNE 23 - Butler was recently demoted to a long relief role, but following the placement of Tyler Chatwood (back) on the DL, the right-hander will resume his old role.

Ways for Rockies bookies to reduce their losses in 2016:

Jorge De La Rosa  (4-4, 7.17) – SATURDAY JUNE 25  - De La Rosa allowed three runs on five hits over six innings to beat the Marlins on Monday, striking out three and walking two. (Mon Jun 20).  In his last four home starts, the games have finished with 14 or more total runs.   Against the current Arizona lineup, De La Rosa has permitted 19 hits off of 63 at bats with 9 extra base hits and three home runs.  We especially like that De La Rosa is coming off a win his last start.  He’s reached the six-inning mark just once in seven starts entering this game.  Arizona’s Shelby Miller has also failed miserably against the current Rockies roster, making for a great OVER opportunity no matter the number the oddsmakers throw our way.

Chad Bettis - (6-5, 5.44) SUNDAY JUNE 26 - Bettis (6-5) held the Yankees to four runs (two earned) on eight hits, with one walk and eight strikeouts over six innings in Tuesday's victory. (Tue Jun 21)  Three of his last four starts in Colorado have resulted in games going OVER 13.5 runs. He has allowed 25 hits off of 66 at bats versus current Diamondbacks players.  12 of those were extra base hits.  Arizona's Patrick Corbin is slated to start Sunday and he has allowed 31 hits off of 108 at bats.  This is yet another great OVER opportunity in our minds.

*Provide your players with live in-play betting through use of a proven offshore Pay Per Head provider such as Gambling911.com endorsed PayPerHeadAgents.com.

*Let your players bet futures for the Rockies to win the 2016 World Series.  The odds of this happening are slim but a few diehards will put money on it happening just as long as you are willing to take their bet.

*Trust the Pay Per Head linesmakers.  You may find a line for a particular starting pitcher a little too attractive to sports bettors but there may be a reason behind this (Pitcher A past performance versus a particular team or left-handers).

*Encourage other forms of gambling such as player prop bets, parlays and totals wagering.
