Curtis Granderson DFS Profile: Will He Get Hot Against Philly May 8

Mets Right fielder Curtis Granderson goes up against Cole Hamels on Friday and, if history is any indication, could go a long way to padding his current .239 ERA.

Granderson is 5-for-11 with one RBI against Hamels.  That amounts to an impressive .455 ERA.

Granderson comes cheap at $2.7K.

The bigger picture is this: Over his last 16 games, Granderson is 17-for-54 (.315) with two homers and eight RBIs along with five doubles and nine runs scored.

“You just got to go ahead and drive the baseball and it’s going to end up going,” Granderson told the New York Post this week. “Right now, I’ve hit some balls, but I haven’t hit them that well and the better you hit balls, the more chances they’re going to go out of the ballpark.

“That’s all it is. I’m not going up there switching things up, trying to do more, trying to do less. It’s just a matter of continuing to put good swings on the ball.”

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
