DraftKings to Offer Single Game Daily Fantasy for Major League Baseball

DraftKings has announced it will continue offering single-game Daily Fantasy Sports extending into the upcoming Major League Baseball season.

The contest will kick off with the Dodgers-Giants opening day game.

Legal ramifications have mostly led to Daily Fantasy Sports reluctance to offer these types of contests as they more closely reflect gambling.  DraftKings and FanDuel began featuring single-game DFS starting with the NFL this past season.

While a number of state laws stipulate that contests must not be based on the performance of a single team or athlete, there is no mention of  the number of games that can be involved in a contest.

In reality, DraftKings has long been offering play on single events such as golf and NASCAR, though these can be broken down further into matchups.

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
