The Oakland Athletics were seeing just over 60% of the action versus the Chicago White Sox for the early Saturday afternoon game.

Both sides were listed with a -105 line.

The A's are 5-1 in the last seven meetings, however, Chicago won the last game.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Athletics RH Daniel Mengden (6-6, 4.06 ERA) vs. White Sox RH Dylan Covey (3-2, 2.90)

Mengden has served up eight homers over this last three starts while going 0-2 with an atrocious 10.05 ERA. The rough stretch follows a span in which he won four consecutive outings while compiling a stellar 1.20 ERA.

Covey gave up five runs (four earned) and six hits over five innings in a loss against Cleveland on Monday, when he also issued a career-high five walks but had won his three previous decisions.

Oakland and Chicago area bookies should be faring relatively well but can really boost their profit with the use of a Pay Per Head provider.  Fees start at just $7 per customer whereas a typcial independent bookmaker would be spending several times this on overhead such as a wire room and call center, not to mention the ridiculous amount of time consumption involved.  Pay Per Head services offer LIVE IN-PLAY WAGERING, and online casino and tons of props and futures bets.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
