Chen missed the first month of the season with a left elbow strain and has produced mixed results in his first four starts. He held the Los Angeles Dodgers to three hits in 4 1/3 scoreless innings Tuesday after surrendering 13 runs with six walks and 12 hits allowed in losses to Cincinnati and the Chicago Cubs.

Teheran gave up four runs on four hits with three walks Monday in a victory over the Cubs, giving the 27-year-old his third consecutive victory and is 6-5 with a 3.49 ERA in 17 career starts against the Marlins.

These clubs have split wins and losses over the last ten meetings though Miami is 3-8 in the last 11 meetings in Atlanta.

The Marlins are 10-4 in Chen’s last 14 starts with 4 days of rest.

The Marlins are 10-26 in their last 36 road games while the Braves are 5-0 in their last 5 games vs. a left-handed starter and 5-0 in Teheran’s last 5 home starts.
