The Arizona Diamondbacks were seeing most of the love early on against St. Louis on the road with an impressive 6-1 record.  One would have anticipated a line move more substantial than the -103 to -107 favoring Arizona that's occurred across the board, especially with 63% to 72% of the action coming their way.

Michael Wacha struggled in his season debut last Saturday but should rebound nicely today at home where he excelled last season.

Wacha is 1-1 lifetime against the Diamondbacks.  He beat Arizona last season with six scoreless innings.

A.J. Pollock is 3-for-7 with a home run versus Wacha so should be considered for one’s daily fantasy roster.

Zack Greinke only lost one game at home last season but was a more human 4-6 on the road.

Marcell Ozuna is 4-for-11 with three homers and Carpenter is 8-for-24 with a pair of blasts against Greinke, who is 12-4 with a 3.17 ERA lifetime versus St. Louis.

These teams have split wins and losses over their last ten meetings.

All indications are that St. Louis takes this one

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
