The Angels are a rare top exposure for this season, seeing better than 75% of the action for this game against the team with the worst record in Major League Baseball.

LA has beaten Kansas City in have beaten the Royals (1-9 in their last ten) in the last six.

The Angels had a line of -177 coming into this one.  That number had risen about 20 points at some books.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Angels LH Tyler Skaggs (6-4, 2.81 ERA) vs. Royals RH Brad Keller (1-2, 2.63)

Skaggs allowed a total of one earned run over 20 innings while earning the win in each of his last three starts and struck out 22 in that span.  He is returning from the hamstring injury but pitched well in a bullpen session on Saturday.

Keller is making a smooth transition from the bullpen to the rotation but is still looking for his first win as a starter. The 22-year-old allowed three runs and nine hits over six innings against Houston in his last outing on June 17 but did not factor in the decision.

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
