Emmanuel Mudiay Draft Position Betting Odds: Chances Good of Selection Under 6
(Gambling911.com Sports Wire) – Emmanuel Mudiay was favored to be selected beyond the 5.5 NBA Draft position Thursday night, however, unlike Justice Winslow, oddsmakers seem a little more unsure. The UNDER 5.5 was being offered up at EVEN odds.
Most of the focus on Mudiay up to this point has been the likelihood of him landing with the Philadelphia 76ers.
NBA insider Joe Kotoch of SheridanHoops.com believes Mudiay is Sixers GM Sam Hinkie's top target.
"Right now obviously we have to see what happens at No. 2, whether the Lakers make that pick or someone else does via trade," Kotoch said. "From everything I'm hearing, Mudiay is gaining momentum in the Sixers organization.
"Even to the point now where Sam Hinkie and company have him ranked above D'Angelo Russell. It sounds like the groundswell of support there is just moving him up and up the board. Right now, the intel that I have tells me that Mudiay is the Sixers' pick."
