While the best-of-seven championship series in the NHL between Nashville and Pittsburgh is starting to really heat up, this year’s NBA Finals may actually be winding down unless Cleveland can find a way to slow down Golden State. Both of these series continue this week as part of a full slate of sports betting action at America’s Bookie.

MLB bettors have their sights set on a huge matchup this week between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees as one of the best rivalries in baseball is renewed with a three-game series at Yankee Stadium starting this Tuesday night. Game time for the opener is set for 7:05 p.m. (ET) and it will be broadcast nationally on MLB Network. America’s Bookie as opened the Yankees as -115 home favorites for Game 1 with the total set at nine. Drew Pomeranz is scheduled to get the start for Boston and New York will turn to Masahiro Tanaka to try and take the early lead in this series. Game 3 on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. will be the featured matchup on ESPN.

In other sports betting action this week at America’s Bookie, play in this year’s French Open continues with quarterfinal action and the PGA Tour will kick off this season’s FedEx St. Jude Classic this Thursday in what will be one final tune-up before the start of next week’s US Open as professional golf’s second Major of the year. The biggest betting event of the week is Game 3 of the NBA Finals this Wednesday night in a 9 p.m. start on ABC. The best-of-seven series has shifted to Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland after Golden State made short work of the Cavaliers in the first two games at Oakland’s Oracle Arena with a pair of victories both straight-up and against the spread by a combined 41 points. The total stayed UNDER 225 points in Game 1 and it went OVER America’s Bookie’s closing 221.5-point line in the Warriors’ 132-113 romp as nine-point home favorites in Sunday’s Game 2.

Golden State has been opened as a three-point road favorite for Game 3 in an attempt to take a commanding 3-0 series lead and the total for Wednesday night’s tilt has been set at 226 points. The Warriors have gone a perfect 14-0 SU in the postseason and they are now 7-1 against the spread in their last eight playoff games. The betting public has taken advantage, that the NBA basketball total has going OVER in six of their last seven games. Cleveland has slipped to just 1-4 ATS in its last five postseason contests and the total has gone OVER in five of its last eight outings.

Pittsburgh’s early 2-0 series lead in the NHL’s Stanley Cup Finals has disappeared with back-to-back losses to the Predators at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena in the last two games of this series. The Penguins jumped out to a fast start at home by outscoring Nashville 9-4 in those first two victories, but the Predators also took full advantage of home ice with a 5-1 win in Game 3 followed by a 4-1 victory on Monday night as -138 home favorites. The total has closed at 5.5 in the first four games and it has been evenly spit at 2-2.

In what is now a best-of-three race to the Stanley Cup, Game 5 is set for Thursday night back in Pittsburgh at PPG Paints Arena in a scheduled 8 p.m. start on NBA. The Penguins closed as -160 home favorites in a 5-3 victory in Game 1 and they were listed as -136 favorites at home for Game 2 in that 4-1 win. Be sure to check America’s Bookie for a full set of betting lines for Thursday’s showdown in a crucial Game 5.
