Online Gambling Website Now Accepts Ethereum

Bookmaker.eu announced this past week that they will now be accepting the cyrptocurrency Ethereum in addition to a host of others that include Bitcoin.  

Ethereum is an open-source, public, blockchain-based distributed computing platform that involves the concept of smart contracts (scripting) while providing a decentralized machine that executes scripts.  The cryptocurrency provided by Ethereum is called Ether.

“We always have a close eye on the advancements of blockchain technology, and the growth of that financial sector is constantly intriguing,” said BookMaker.eu spokesman, Scott Cooley. “Our clients have enjoyed the benefits of depositing and withdrawing using Bitcoin for years, and now they’ll have a wealth of cryptocurrency options at their disposal.”
