American Idol Recap: A Real Snoozefest

Is it us or is this season's crop of American Idol contestants some of the biggest letdowns?

This American Idol recap can be summed up sorta like this:  "Nobody was really worth writing about except for Adam Lambert".  I mean, seriously, our own Jenny Woo once performed "Mary Had a Little Lamb" on the infamous Cindy Margolis Show a few years back, and she put more effort into THAT than most of these Idol wannabes did this week.  Simon (Cowell) certainly could have been a whole lot crueler.

Canada Bets Big on 2009 Oscars After Being Snubbed

One Oscar nomination...that's it for Canada this year after past Oscars where the Canadians have been well represented.

The lone nominee, Chris Williams, co-director of the animated feature Bolt, probably won't win either as the film as the longest odds in that category - The payout would be US$3000 for every $100 bet at SBG Global.

So what happened to Canada at this year's Oscars?

2009 Academy Awards Betting Odds (Updated)

2009 Academy Awards betting odds have been updated heading into the big event.

"Best Picture" odds had Slumdog Millionaire with -1000 odds to win at betED.com.  Gambling911.com does not recommend placing this big a bet on any event, therefore, unless you really think there is going to be an upset of epic proportion, our advise is "don't do it!".
