College Football Game of the Week:  Texas A&M vs. Alabama -

Texas A&M Aggies: Redshirt freshman QB Johnny Manziel had another big game as the Aggies (7-2 straight-up, 5-4 against the spread) rolled past Mississippi State last week, 38-13. The victory came as 6½-point road favorites and left A&M a perfect 5-0 away from home this season. The leader of the nation's fifth-ranked offense (559.6 yards per game), Manziel ranks second in the country, averaging over 380 yards per game by himself.

Alabama Crimson Tide: A stunning rally in Baton Rouge gave 'Bama (9-0 SU, 5-4 ATS) a 21-17 win over LSU last Saturday to keep the team's perfect record intact. Junior QB AJ McCarron, who completed just eight of his first 21 passes in the game, was a perfect 6-for-6 in directing the Tide on the game-winning drive in the final two minutes. The Crimson Tide defense had not allowed any team to even reach the 300-yard mark on offense before the Tigers accumulated 435 yards in the losing effort. The final score fell just short of the 38½-point total, and 13 of the last 19 games played in Tuscaloosa have also finished on the low side of the scoreboard number.

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
