2015 NFL Draft Props Now Available at Sportsbook: Mariota vs. Winston

“Due to widespread interest we have just reopened our NFL Draft props early this year,” noted Matt James of Sportsbook.ag. “With so much conflicting opinion in the US main stream sports media it’s a tough market to offer odds on, but the interest and discussion around the draft gets bigger every year….as does our betting action.

“The experts consensus is that Winston will be drafted before Mariota, and we strongly agree having Winston as a huge -400 favorite to go ahead of Mariota (+250)

It’s interesting to note the reversal of opinion following the FCS Championship game where Mariota was strongly favored over Winston by the same odds, and without playing a competitive snap Winston is now the front runner.

“We do think he his game currently more NFL ready and there are teams at the top of the draft board in need of immediate upgrades in the QB position…namely the Bucs.”

Will Winston to go as No.1 overall pick? YES -400 NO +250

“Mariota’s draft position is much more uncertain with the strong possibility of teams trading up for him,” James explained.  “We’ve set his over/under draft position at 3.5.”

He added:  “We also have Amari Cooper/Kevin White matched up evenly as the top WR’s with both projected to go in the top 10 picks….and the same goes for the top RB’s Todd Gurley & Melvin Gordon who we think will both go later in the 1st round.”
