Twitter Survey Shows Each State's Game of Year Prediction

A semi-scientific Twitter study conducted recently shows which game each of America's 50 states believes should take home "Game of the Year" honors.

Since the nominees were announced, website BetOnline.ag has been collecting all of the tweets containing game titles with "game of the year" and #gameoftheyear or "will win game of the year" or "should win game of the year."

It ran those tweets (nearly 100,000 of them) through a geo-tracking program that showed which states each tweet came from.

Elden Ring with more than 25 states edged out God of War (18 states) for the top spot.
