Cincinnati Bengals Regular Season Wins Prediction, Betting Odds 2017

The Cincinnati Bengals are favorites to win UNDER 8.5 regular season games in 2017, priced at -120.  The OVER was coming in priced at -110.

Justis Mosqueda of SettingEdge.com explains why he believes the Bengals had such a successful season two years ago:

The Bengals have been best under Lewis when the keys were handed over to great coordinators who were hired from the outside. 2016 was the first year since Lewis started making it to the playoffs that two homegrown coordinators were running the show. The result? Cincinnati went from a 12-4 record, Lewis’ best as a head coach, to a 6-9-1 record, the third-worst mark in his 14-year career.

The Bengals took a step back last season and, from the looks of things early on, they do not appear to be moving in the right direction.

Their offensive line appears to be in shambles while quarterback Andy Dalton likely will not have the type of protection that he requires.

From AthlonSports.com:

Too many players who played key roles in the run of success departed for bigger contracts elsewhere in recent years, and not enough of the team’s draft picks stepped in and played well enough. The team is still looking for the next Marvin Jones or Mohamed Sanu. Or the next Kevin Zeitler or Andrew Whitworth.

The UNDER is a good play here, unless of course the situation changes dramatically for these Bengals.

Shockingly, we would see the Bengals call behind the Browns this season.
