"I think this team deserves an opportunity to get in the playoff by what they've been able to accomplish and what they've been able to do," Alabama head coach Nick Saban said after the Tide's 26-14 loss. " ... They won 11 games, and not many teams are able to do that. I really don't know what all the scenarios might be where we'd have an opportunity to do it, but I'd certainly like to see this team get an opportunity to do it."

Alabama was a shoe-in to win prior to this past weekend’s beatdown by rival Auburn.

Ohio State already lost two this season and was pretty much written out of the Playoffs picture just a few weeks ago but has since regrouped.

ESPN.com noted a few of the possible scenarios that would have both Ohio State and Alabama in the Playoffs picture.

Scenario 1: Oklahoma wins Big 12, Ohio State wins Big Ten

Scenario 2: TCU wins, Wisconsin wins

Scenario 3: TCU wins, Ohio State wins

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
