Falcons vs. Saints Point Spread – Fantasy Value: Kenny Stills

The Falcons vs. Saints point spread for Week 16 had New Orleans as a -6 home favorite though a few books were offering the -6.5 and -7. Action slightly favored New Orleans but this one won’t break the books regardless of the outcome with the spread.  Gambling911.com also looks at Kenny Stills Fantasy forecast for this week, and it is a good one.

It’s hard to imagine that both these NFC South teams are vying for a Playoffs spot with a record of 5-9 for Atlanta and 6-8 for New Orleans.  A Falcons loss will eliminate them from the post season.  New Orleans would still be competing with Carolina, though the Saints do have the best chances based on their one-game-ahead record.

The home team has won five of the last six games in this series and the two teams have split in their last four.  New Orleans last two wins were by 4 and 6.  Only one of their last seven wins against Atlanta were by more than the current spread.

Against the Spread, the Falcons have gone 5-1 vs. its division rivals.  The Saints are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games following a Straight Up win.

Kenny Stills is a red hot commodity on the Fantasy front per many of the experts across the Net. DailySportsRankings.com notes that this is a Falcons team that has allowed the highest total yards per game by 20 full yards over the 2nd worst team.  This game does have the highest total of the week so we should see plenty of scoring with Stills getting his fair share of opportunities.

The best thing about Stills is his price at $6300.

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
