Don’t look now but Iceland, not exactly known for their football skills, have just stunned mighty England 2-1.  With odds of winning the Euro 2016 at 50-1 at some books (40-1 most of them), the payout with an Iceland championship would be huge.

The tiny country of just 330,000 has sealed a quarterfinal date with France, favorites to win the Euro 2016.

England got off to a fast start when Raheem Sterling was brought down by goalkeeper Hannes Halldorsson and Wayne Rooney confidently thumped home the penalty in the fourth minute.

This was followed by Ragnar Sigurdsson equalising within two minutes for Iceland.  Kolbeinn Sigthorsson scored the second goal for Iceland in the 18th minute.
