Manchester United has quashed rumors that they will be going after Arsenal’s Samir Nasri, however, Sir Alex Ferguson has stated that he believes that another club – possibly Man City, did land one of the most desired footballers.

"Nasri, no," Ferguson said at a press conference on United's pre-season tour of America. "I don't think he's coming to United.

"I think he's agreed to go somewhere else. Maybe he has to stay at Arsenal too. That's a possibility.”

Manchester City and Chelsea were both vying for Nasri.  His signing could result in Man City’s odds of winning the 2011 – 2012 England Premier getting slashed further from the current 3 to 1 found at 888.com.

Getting back to Manchester United, it appeared the club was getting closer to grabbing Wesley Sneijder.
