Peru vs. Uruguay Copa America Betting Odds

Peru vs. Uruguay Copa America betting odds had Uruguay as a -130 favorite and Peru at +365 promising a $36.50 payout on a $10 bet.  The draw would pay out $22.50 on a $10 bet.

Two goals each from Carlos Lobatón and Juan Vargas ensured a stunning victory Saturday by Peru against favorite Colombia.

"It was a really tough game but we applied ourselves. We rolled our sleeves up and I think we deserved to win it. Every one of us fought really hard right to the final whistle," said Vargas.

"I hope we can keep this going," added Vargas, who plays his club football for Fiorentina and is affectionately known as El Loco (the madman).

Uruguay was getting the most betting action at BetDSI.com heading into game day Tuesday.

Peru will have their work cut out for them with Uruguay among the four early favorites to win the Copa 2011.  But Peru has absolutely stunned during this competition having finished at the bottom of their World Cup qualifying group.

While these two teams drew against one another early on in the Copa America 2011, Peru has played especially well against Uruguay in past games, where they have lost only one out of six games in the series.

This one has “draw” written all over it, but the upset offers great value.
