They enter the 2016 as one of the favorites to win Super Bowl LI with odds of 7-1 at BetDSI.com.  Their odds of winning the NFC Championship were slightly above 4-1 and the NFC West division at -127.  They were favored to win OVER 10.5 regular season games at -147.

The Seattle Seahawks couldn’t make it to a third straight Super Bowl last season as they were beaten in the playoffs by the Carolina Panthers.

In reality, the Seahawks should have lost the previous week to the Vikings. Seattle underperformed last season but they still went 10-6 and finished second in the NFC West.

Seattle really should have been better last season then they were as they were 5th in the league in points per game and 1st in fewest points allowed. Seattle should be just fine on offense this season as long as Thomas Rawls comes back healthy and if they avoid injuries and the defense should once again be excellent. Oddsmakers set the win total for the Seahawks at 10.5 for the 2016 season.

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
