South Carolina-Missouri Free Pick, Betting Odds

Gambling911.com has your South Carolina-Missouri free pick and betting odds for Saturday’s game.

Missouri Tigers -4, total 42.5

A Little More Cocky

South Carolina is coming off a 31-14 home win against Central Florida which improves their record to 2-2 straight up and against the spread with just one of their four games going over the total. While head coach Steve

Spurrier has led the South Carolina program to the greatest heights in its history the program appears to have hit a rut as recruiting has obviously slipped and the great irony of all is that even in the best of times the Gamecocks have never had a standout at quarterback. South Carolina ranks 96th overall for total offense, 114th for passing offense, and 108th for scoring offense. The once stout defense ranks 86th overall nationally.

Toothless Tigers?

Mizzou is 3-1 straight up and a revealing 0-4 against the spread with all four of their games going under the total. Mizzou is coming off a 21-13 road loss at Kentucky as their offense was rendered helpless at UK. Mizzou boasts the nation’s seventh ranked overall defense but their offense is becoming a crisis as the Tigers rank 119th nationally for total offense and 115th for scoring defense. QB Maty Mauk has been a big disappointment with a 5/4 TD/INT ratio and just 5.9 yards per passing attempt.

Game Notes

Last year the Missouri Tigers scored a 21-20 win at South Carolina and the road dog has taken the cash in the last two meetings in this head to head series. Mizzou has covered the NCAA football betting point spread in just three out of their last eight home games with eight out of their last nine home games going under the total. South Carolina has failed to cover the college football betting point spread in seven out of their last 11 away games. With both teams struggling offensively and with Mizzou’s stout defense this should be a low scoring game.

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
