Weather Forecast for the Patriots-Broncos Sunday Night Football Game: Odds

The weather forecast for the Patriots-Broncos Sunday Night Football game was calling for a significant chance of snow (up to one inch) come game time.  Sports bettors should pay special attention to the total for this game with temperatures dipping below 30 degrees.

The total has gone from 45 to 43 with a few books offering the OVER/UNDER at 42.5 Saturday evening.  The last game of this series played in Denver hit 42.  Games played in New England as part of this series tend to result in much higher scoring we would note.

The Patriots will be without wide receiver Danny Amendola.   Peyton Manning, meanwhile, will be out with an injured foot.   Brock Osweiler, who guided his team to a 17-15 win over Chicago last week, will start in Manning’s place.

The line on the game had dipped from -3.5 to -2.5 favoring New England throughout the week.

The chance of snowfall was coming in at 80%.

The Patriots were the most wagered on team as of Saturday night, seeing 71 percent of bets in a game seeing heavy action.

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
