Gaurdians @ Blue Jays

This is a Cleveland Guardians offense that has the worst wRC+ (76) against lefties in the American League this year, thus Hyun Jin Ryu should continue his success since returning from Tommy John surgery where we see him delivering a 1.89 ERA and 1.05 WHIP across four starts.

Guardian starter Logan Allen allowed just two runs on four hits in six innings in a tough luck loss to the Tigers on Sunday.

The line here is -170 for the Blue Jays even though Cleveland has gone 7-3 in the series over the past ten and Allen is a decent enough pitcher.

Dodgers @ Red Sox

Julio Urias will be coming off of four straight wins. With the exception of the last game he started in, the prior four resulted in nine or more runs being scored.

James Paxton is without a win over his last two starts. He surrendered seven runs — six earned — in four innings Monday in a loss to the Astros.

The Boston Red Sox have hit the Game Total Over in their last 9 games.

Six of the last ten games have seen Boston score 5 or more runs. They've allowed teams to score five or more in six of their last ten as well. Eight of their last ten games have resulted in at least nine runs being scored.

LA has scored four or fewer runs in six of their last ten games while allowing no more than 3 runs in eight of their last ten.

The Dodgers currently have the second best bullpen over the last ten games.

Yankees @ Rays

Clarke Schmidt (8-7, 4.68 ERA) does not have a win in his last two starts. He struck out eight Red Sox in 5 2/3 innings on Sunday while allowing just two runs on four hits. Prior to that, he was pounded for eight runs in 2 1/3 innings by the Braves in a loss Monday but only gave up a single run versus the White Sox in a win before that game.

In 43 at bats, the Rays current lineup has had 11 hits and a single home run against Schmidt (.256).

After winning three straight, Tyler Glasnow gave up seven runs in a loss to the Angels his last start.

In 80 at bats, the Yankees have only hit 15 times against Glasnow (.188). Three of four homers were courtesy of Giancarlo Stanton.

Tampa has scored five or more runs in seven of their last eight games, failing to do so their last appearance in a loss against the Yankees.

Though New York have won two of their last three games overall and scored five or more over that period, the Yankees were coming off a stretch where they lost nine straight while scoring more than three runs in only two of those nine games.

This one had dropped from -180 to -168 with around 65% of the action on Tampa, so that worries us a bit.

It's pricey but we get the Rays here at -180

Note that the total has come off the 7.5 with better than 80% of the action on the OVER 7.

Astros @ Tigers

Hunter Brown is coming off a loss where he surrendered six runs across 2 2/3 innings Sunday in a loss to the Mariners but enjoyed a win prior to that versus the Marlins.

Houston has gone 8-2 against the Tigers in their last ten games.

Astros career statistics vs. Eduardo Rodriguez are 36 in 125 at bats (.288) with nine homers. Yordan Alvarez is 5 for 12 against him.

Rodriguez is also coming off a win his last start.
