Foxwoods May be Exploring Daily Fantasy Sports

(Gambling911.com Fantasy Sports Wire) - With the final hours of online registration for the highly anticipated and first ever Daily Fantasy Sports Expo in Miami Beach next week, Gambling911.com can confirm that Foxwoods Casino will be in attendance.

The casino group’s Vice President of Gaming and Revenue Enhancement has registered to attend, organizer Marc Lesnick confirmed to Gambling911.com Thursday.  Whether this is an indication that Foxwoods intends to enter the lucrative world of Daily Fantasy Sports is not yet known though we can surmise they are certainly interested in exploring the sector.

Lesnick expects 10 percent of registrations to take place at the door the day of the event so it is not too late to attend.  Be prepared to pay a premium however.

Gambling911.com and its sister site DFS911.com will be main sponsors of the event.  Gambing911 founder Chris Costigan will host two of the panels including that focused on legality issues surrounding Daily Fantasy Sports.
