American Pharoah Best Odds to Win Belmont Stakes, Current Line

American Pharoah is the favorite to win the Belmont Stakes but which online racebook was offering the best odds?

Sportsbook had him at -150, Bookmaker had him at -138, BetOnline had him at 3/5 (paying $3 for every $5 bet compared to $3.60 at Bookmaker), AceSportsbook had him at the same price as BetOnline and BetPhoenix was coming in also at the same price as BetOnline.

And the winner is – by a nose – Bookmaker with the $3.60 payout for every $5 bet compared to just $3.00 for every $5 bet elsewhere. It really adds up.

American Pharoah reportedly had a “monster workout” according to trainer Bob Baffert.

"He looked like a monster out there," Baffert told reporters after the colt's gallop on Friday at Belmont Park. "I am really happy with the way he went. He's still sharp."

The exhausting mile-and-a-half Belmont Stakes is dubbed "Test of the Champion" because it is the longest of the three classic U.S. races and the final one.

"All the work is done now," he said. "From here on, we'll try to relax a little. We need to make sure the horse is content and continues to eat well, and to stick to the same routine.

"And now we need to keep people away from him."

Can't Bet on Twinspires.com From Mississippi

Despite it being among the very first states to legalize sports betting following the US Supreme Court decision to abolish decades of prohibition in 2018, Mississippi still doesn't allow mobile sports wagering....and that includes betting on the Kentucky Derby.  As such, TwinSpires.com is not available here.

Can't Bet the Kentucky Derby With Twinspires From My State

TwinSpires is available from most US states.  Those states where the app is not available mostly do not feature any of the competition either.  BetOnline is available in states where TwinSpires is not for those 18 and up with two exceptions, New Jersey and Nevada.
