Kentucky Derby Odds

No horse starting in either the number 17 or 19 positions have ever won a Kentucky Derby.  That news shouldn't bold well for either Dublin or the very big long shot Homeboykris.

Dublin will start in the number 17 position.  He's actually close to single digit odds at 12/1 or +1200 at SBG Global.  Dublin has the distinction of being the most expensive horse to participate in this Saturday's Kentucky Derby.

Dublin has placed 3rd at both the Arkansas Derby, Rebel Stakes and 2nd at the Southwest.

Dublin is far and away the best runner produced by Grade 1-winning sprinter Classy Mirage, heroine of the seven-furlong Ballerina H. (G1) in 1995.

Homeboykris is a huge underdog that would pay out $5700 on a $100 bet.  In recent times, the big underdog has paid out huge.  Last year's biggest underdog was Mine That Bird and he went on to win the 2009 Kentucky Derby.  He has finished 5th in his two most recent major races.

SBG Global had Kentucky Derby odds for all the contenders that can be bet here.
