Odds of Bodhisattva Winning The 2015 Preakness Stakes at 45-1

The odds of Bodhisattva winning the 2015 Preakness Stakes race Saturday were not very good at 45-1 but if you are looking for that elusive windfall, this is definitely the horse for you.

A win by Bodhisattva would pay out $450 for every $10 bet.

The name Bodhisattva is derived from a person who is able to reach nirvana but delays doing so out of compassion in order to save suffering beings.  That could be you if this long shot claims the victory Saturday.

Bodhisattva is coming off a win in the Federico Tesio on April 18 and also placed second in his previous start.  In his one graded race, the Remsen on November 29, Bodhisattv finished 5th.

His sire, Student Council, won multiple stakes races and earned more than a million dollars.

"I am not a person who likes to talk about my horse is this and that, he should win," veteran owner and trainer Jose Corrales said. "I'm not a big talker because if I don't think he had a chance, I would not run him.

"I'm not running for the show or people to see my face or my name. Let the horse talk."

Below are your odds to win the 2015 Preakness Stakes available at BetOnline.
