With the post position drawn for Saturday’s Kentucky Derby, we now have the odds post the post position draw.

As expected there has been a seismic shift in the odds immediately following the unveiling.

We also anticipated some distancing between the three early favorites and that is evident now.

Classic Empire (5-1) was a full point favorite more than Always Dreaming (6-1).

The other early favorite, Irish War Cry (8-1) drew the worst post position.

McCracken, previously in double digits, was now in the thick of things with 7.5/1 odds while Gunnevera had also shortened to just over 8-1 odds.
