As reported earlier in the day Monday, Patriots starting quarterback Tom Brady must serve a four-week suspension in an alleged football deflating scheme in the AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts two years ago.

Brady had appealed the initial punishment leveled against him by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

As a result of this news, oddsmakers have moved New England’s price to win Super Bowl LI from 15-2 to 7-1

Three of the four games Brady is slated to miss could have been considered easy victories with him there. Now the odds are greater that New England will only win two, maybe just one of these three matchups.  The Texans and Bills, at least on paper, look as if they could see improvements for the upcoming season.

The Patriots in Arizona would likely have been a tough game even with Brady on the roster.
