Fresh off its signing of Victory Poker to its ever growing network of Internet card rooms, Cake Poker this week announces it will be hosting the first ever US-based tribal online poker site.

The Atlantis Group signed an agreement with the Cake Poker Network last Wednesday that would allow it to operate within the United States proper upon an Indian reservation.

“We at Gambling911.com have always wondered when the tribes in the United States would finally get on board the Internet gambling craze,” remarked Payton O’Brien, Senior Editor of the Gambling911.com website.

The group will be able to offer online poker games at casinos in more than 30 states as part of the “Tribal Gaming Network”.

Donald Bailey, CEO of the Atlantis Group, said: “The Indian version of the CGN, termed ‘Tribal Gaming Network’ is a direct and legitimate solution to the Indian casino at national level by providing the largest network of online poker in the United States; It is a landmark agreement for ATIG and Cake as they will offer a direct solution t to the tribes and states facing economic problems at national level”.

There is a growing movement in the U.S. and Europe to relax the rules on Internet gambling so that taxes on online gaming might bolster revenue and reduce budget shortfalls, a presser from the company noted.

Cake Poker is currently offering a wealth of great online poker bonuses including a FREE $650 MAX when opening an account today.
