Lady Gaga

The popular online poker software brand Cake Poker performs rather well in search.  This has helped propel them into the top 10 of all online poker rooms across the globe.

But the Cake Poker site warns to beware of poker metaphors that have gotten in the way of searching for content related to the popular card game:

"Responsible use of poker metaphors is a harmless pastime for many writers. But every day, millions of internet searchers fall prey to the epidemic of ill-suited comparisons between the world's most popular card game and a host of unrelated topics. These poor souls find themselves reading about political issues or popular entertainment instead of the game they love, often with disastrous results."

Lady Gaga's uber popular "Poker Face" song comes to mind.  Yes we are gaga for Gaga but....

Roberto Ivanov, 21, of Canberra, Australia, was searching for information about online satellites for the World Series of Poker, but he became hopelessly discouraged when the only results Google returned to him were about the latest Lady Gaga video. Ivanov turned to a life of outlaw accountancy and was shot dead by police when he offered unwanted assistance in balancing the books of a local bread company.

No, they did not play "Poker Face" at his funeral.

Cake Poker is offering a 110 percent cash startup bonus for those of you looking for information related to playing online poker.
