Search Continues for Armed 'Pizza Deliverymen' in Poker Pro Theo Jorgensen Shooting

One of Denmark’s leading poker pros Theo Jorgensen continues to recover following a gun shot wound to his leg suffered during an armed home invasion that occurred this past Sunday.   The bandits entered the premises claiming to be pizza deliverymen, though nobody in the Jorgensen household had ordered pizza.  The poker pro’s wife was home at the time of the attack. 

The incident occurred in his home 21 kilometers outside of Copenhagen in the municipality of Greve on the east coast of the island of Zealand.

Jorgensen expressed gratitude to all his followers on Twitter, Facebook and the poker community in general.  Nearly 9000 people liked his message on Facebook.

Det er vigtigt for mig at understrege, at jeg er en forsigtig mand. Dear all, it is important for me to stress that I am a cautious man. I have prepared myself mentally and practically that this situation could arise, in order to protect myself and my family against outsiders. I know that outsiders may have a misguided perception of how much cash I have in my home. I have alarm systems installed, always so get cash landscape as possible and generally taken my precautions. Police now have photos of the three armed assailants and have offered descriptions to the media.
