The Mizrachi brothers were still atop the leader board of the popular World Series of Poker event, The $50k Player's Championship.

Michael and Robert Mizrachi continued to battle for the top prize.

Michael Mizrachi lead the way over the 21-player field that remains with his brother in 6th place. Michael made headlines on the Gambling911.com site just a few weeks back when reports surfaced that he owed the IRS over $300,000.

Mizrachi owes $339,000 in back taxes and lost his Hollywood, Florida home to foreclosure via an online auction.

The debts come from mismanagement of poker winnings, said Mizrachi, who said he fired his accountant and "hired a better one."

"They were doing a bad job," he said. "I'm working on [settling the liens]."

For the time being, Mizrachi is doing a very good job and could end up taking home the $1,559,046 first prize, which would go a long way towards paying off those taxes.

Mizrachi is a member of Team UB.com.
