Sheldon Adelson Done With Newt Gingrich: ‘He’s at the End of His Line’ (Video)

In an interview featured on the Jewish Journal Thursday, casino magnate Sheldon Adelson essentially said that Newt Gingrich’s campaign to become the GOP US Presidential nominee is over.

Adelson was considered the biggest donor for Gingrich’s Super PAC.

His decision not to fund Gingrich any more does not necessarily translate into an instant bank for either Mitt Romney or Rick Santorum, the two primary candidates still vying for the GOP nomination.

“I know Rick [Santorum]. I like him. We’re friendly. But I got to tell you something, I don’t want him running my country,” Adelson said.

Romney is “not the bold decision maker like Newt Gingrich is,” Adelson added.

Adelson has drawn some distain from the poker community for his decision not to support legalized Internet poker in the US.  Some players have gone as far as to suggest a boycott of his casino properties, which includes the Sands of Las Vegas.
