Nikki Haley and Mike Pence held their own and Vivek Ramaswamy took up much of the oxygen in the room.  Former President Donald Trump did not appear but his presence was felt.

The first GOP 2024 US Presidential Debate is now in the books and BetOnline was still offering its election odds.

Speaking of sucking all the oxygen out of the room, Trump will once again take center stage on Thursday when he is set to appear - in prime time - for his booking at the Fulton County Georgia jail.  He is accused of interfering in the 2020 Presidential election.  BetOnline's Trump weight at the time of booking odds have everybody across the interwebs and boob tube weighing in.

Haley, in particular, likely had the best night.  Ramaswamy appealed to a large enough chunk of the Republican base if we're to believe the Drudge Report poll that immediately followed Wednesday night's debate.

Who didn't make much of an impact?

That would be former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, who is slightly favored to exit the race first at +125.

Current North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum was coming in at 2-1 odds.

BetOnline offered odds on the debate winner leading up to Wednesday night based on the Fox affiliated poll.

Vivek Ramaswamy        3/2

Chris Christie                3/1

Ron DeSantis                4/1

Tim Scott                      4/1

Mike Pence                   10/1

Nikki Haley                   12/1

Asa Hutchinson             50/1

Doug Burgum               50/1

Ramaswamy is rising in recent polls and Wednesday night's poll will likely push him further.  Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and South Carolina Senator Tim Scott came across as flat.
