The San Francisco 49ers were favorites to win the 2024 Super Bowl (Super Bowl 58) with a payout potential of $200 for every $100 bet.  Coming into Week 16, the 49ers owned an 11-3 record Straight Up and a respectable enough 8-6 record Against The Spread.

Wins in the next two matchups will give San Francisco the top seed in the NFC and a bye into the divisional round of the playoffs as they are still reeling from last week's home loss to the AFC leading Baltimore Ravens.

The Niners can also clinch the top seed with a win Sunday, along with a Dallas Cowboys win over the Detroit Lions on Saturday and an Arizona Cardinals win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

San Francisco, at least on paper, should have no trouble beating Washington in Week 17.  They come into this game as the -14 favorite.

The 49ers are set to play in one of the most highly anticipated games of the season and a potential preview of Super Bowl 58.  This is a Christmas night present as San Francisco hosts the Baltimore Ravens.  Both teams sit atop their respective conference.

The action was balanced on this game, which featured a line of 49ers -5/5.5. San Francisco is the first team to win six straight games by more than 10 points in the same season since the Saints did so back in 2009.  New Orleans would go on to win the Super Bowl that season.

“You can’t ignore it,” Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton said. “It’s two great teams going at it. We’re on Christmas Day; it’s kind of as big as it gets.”

QB Brock Purdy has taken his game to another level during San Francisco’s six-game winning streak, with a 138.1 passer rating, 17 TDs, two INTs and 11.0 yards per attempt. Purdy’s six games this season with a passer rating of at least 130 are tied for the most ever in a season.

He completed 16-of-25 passes for 242 yards and four touchdowns in the 49ers’ 45-29, Week 15 win over the Cardinals.

Purdy's passing yards total for their Week 16 showdown against the Ravens was set at 252.5.

What They Are Saying....

"The Saints have been excellent at both taking the ball away and defending passes. They rank first in the league with 87 pass breakups, a significant lead over the Niners' 75. Saints cornerback Paulson Adebo leads the team with 15 pass breakups this year." -- Katherine Terrell, ESPN

Aiyuk-Deebo Trade Odds and ROY Shift

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
