Ravens-Raiders Betting Line, Free Pick: Week 2 NFL Odds

The Ravens-Raiders betting line was coming in at Baltimore -7.  We also have your free pick on this game below.

Baltimore Ravens -7, total 42

Both Teams off a Loss

The Ravens lost in Denver 19-13 last week while the Raiders were blown out at home 33-13 by Cincinnati. “Neither one of us won our opener, so you move onto the next game. ... You make your corrections, you learn from the experience that you had and then you go forward.” Oakland head coach Jack Del Rio said, “That’s what you have to do in this league. This league is about next – the next play, the next series, the next game – and that’s where our focus will go. We’ll meet with our players in the morning, we’ll put this game behind us and move on to the next.”

Carr Might Play with Bruised Hand

The Raider got good news on starting quarterback Derek Carr as he only suffered a bruised hand in the loss to Cincinnati. If Carr is not ready then it will be backup Matt McGloin getting the start. McGloin filled in last week and threw for 142 yards and a pair of touchdowns off the bench. The Raiders will need all the offense they can get considering their defense was gashed for almost 400 yards last week.

The Baltimore Ravens lead the all-time series with the Oakland Raiders, 7-1, since moving from Cleveland. The last time the Ravens lost to the Raiders was in 2003. Baltimore has won two of the three games played in Oakland.

The Ravens will not have travel concerns for this game as they are staying on the West Coast after their opener in Denver. The Raiders will be opening with two straight home games for the first time since 1969.
