A semi-scientific Twitter (now X) study conducted over the past month (30 days) displays the percentage of total team tweets that discuss winning the Super Bowl, getting to the playoffs or winning the division this upcoming season. For example, the percentage of all tweets from Detroit Lions fans that mention them having success this season (SB/ playoffs/winning division).  Live Super Bowl odds can be found here.

In total, nearly 750,000 tweets were collected for the study.

As you can see from the graphic, it's no surprise that Chiefs fans and Eagles fans are on top, given their dominance last season. However, it is interesting to see the Lions and Jets ranking so high, but the Lions could be an up-and-coming club following their strong finish last year, and the Jets acquisition of Aaron Rodgers regenerated a ton of fresh Gang Green fans.

Cowboys fans are generally always optimistic (and perennially disappointed), so it’s no surprise to see them near the top.
