Bovada can be accessed from the state of South Carolina but we recommend one of the best Gambling911.com-endorsed online gambling websites BetUS (now celebrating 30 years).

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled to allow sports betting in the United States back in May, thus erasing decades of prohibition.

South Carolina, however, is unlikely to embrace the activity any time soon by allowing sportsbooks to open shop in the state.  It has zero intention of amending its current state laws to open the floodgates as nearby Mississippi has in recent months.

South Carolina does not have any gambling businesses currently, casinos included. Bovada and its competitors continue to enjoy zero competition in South Carolina as a result.

What the state does have is some very solid college teams including the championship Clemson Tigers in College Football.

And in 2024, the Palmeto State was well represented in the NCAA Basketball Tournament, both on the women's and men's side.

The South Carolina Gamecocks were favorites to win the NCAA Women's Championship while the Gamecocks, Clemson Tigers and Charleston Cougars were all playing in the men's tournament.
