Will the FanDuel Sports Betting App Be Available to Those in Washington?
It will not be. Washington State recently legalized sports betting, but only in designated Tribal casinos that qualify for a license. It is unclear whether FanDuel will be partnering up with any of these tribes. Mobile sports betting will only be available via websites that are based outside the state like BetOnline.
Disadvantages to Using the FanDuel Sports Betting App
Even as a Washington State resident, you can still place real money bets on the FanDuel app, but only when visiting the state of New Jersey and a handful of other states where FanDuel is licensed.
The Fanduel sports betting app went live in New Jersey in 2018 and is now available in a handful of other US states including Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
While those 18 or older can play with BetOnline, FanDuel requires users to be at least 21 in order to place a bet.
