The first CFP rankings of the season will be announced tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN, and one sportsbook has tried to project where the committee will place certain teams.
SportsBetting.ag (Twitter: @SportsBettingAG) has odds for which teams will occupy each of the top four CFP spots. It also has over/under ranking positions for one-loss teams like Penn State, Georgia, Oregon, Oklahoma and Utah as well as unbeaten teams in Minnesota and Baylor.
Keep in mind, the oddsmakers don't always get it right, but neither does the committee. And if you compare the updated national championship odds (below) to the rankings, it's apparent that the bookmakers are trying to put themselves in the minds of the CFP committee because the top teams don't match up.
