Tony Ferguson vs. Justin Gaethje KO Odds

Tony Ferguson vs. Justin Gaethje ending with a KO or TKO was priced at -150.

Ferguson has fought 28 times with 12 wins.  12 of those were by knockout, 8 by submission, 5 by decision.

Gaethje has 21 out of 23 wins (2 losses).  18 of those were by knockout.

It makes sense that Knockout would be the favorite here.

Submission pays $25 for every $10 bet, Points pays $37 for every $10 bet.

The line on this fight is -205 for Ferguson.  Gaethje pays $17.50 for every $10 bet.

This one should be competitive, at least in theory. A knockout victory might not be easy to come by.

Still, Scott Harris of Bleacher Report sees a KO in the 1st round.  And it won't be Gaethje passed out on the mat.

I'm not viewing this as some kind of Khabib consolation match. This bout takes a back seat to none.

My prediction? Pain. Both of these guys are going to get hurt. In a nutshell, Ferguson has the gas tank and the all-around game, while Gaethje has the power and the takedown defense. There will be no backing down. When the dust settles, Nurmagomedov will have a new challenger. To my way of thinking, no one tops Khabib once the action hits the mat. So if you would like to see a new lightweight champion, Gaethje is your guy. With Gaethje, it only takes one.

Gaethje, KO, Rd. 1.
