Reyes did not hold back in a recent interview when asked how he felt about Jones.

“He’s not ever going to be the Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali level,” declared Reyes during a recent interview on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show.

“No matter how many wins he gets, no matter how many titles he wins, he can’t get out of his own way. He’s just not a good person.”

Jones is the current and two-time undisputed UFC Light Heavyweight Champion.  He is yet to suffer a legitimate defeat.

Reyes also remains undefeated, and Jones admits this could prove a tough fight.

“I really like the fact that he’s undefeated,” Jones told reporters this week. “I think something special comes out of me when I fight guys that are undefeated. Ryan Bader was undefeated – he’s now the double champ (in Bellator). That excited me. Daniel Cormier was undefeated and looked at as close to invincible by many people. That excited me.

“Glover Teixeira (was) on a 20-fight win streak when I met him, so it definitely brings out more when I’m fighting someone who’s never tasted defeat before. Dominick has that attitude of being superior, and it’s gonna go great, giving him his first taste of defeat.”

This fight will take place Saturday, February 8th beginning at 6:30 p.m. EST from the Toyota Center in Houston.

Jon Rahm Surges at PGA Championship

Jon Rahm was going for his third major win at the 107th PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. He played great, proving he’s ready to be a top golfer again. After some ups and downs since joining LIV Golf in late 2023, Rahm shot an impressive 4-under 67 in the third round on Saturday. This strong round put him tied for fifth place, just five shots behind the leader, Scottie Scheffler.
