The White Sox are coming in at +104 for the first game.

Betting Trends

  • Boston is 16-6 versus the White Sox in the last 22 games.
  • White Sox are 1-6 in the last 7 meetings.
  • White Sox are 3-9 in the last 12 meetings in Boston.

It also helps that Boston is hot so far this season.  They have won ten of their past eleven games overall.

Chicago will start lefty Dallas Keuchel (0-0, 6.43 ERA).  A starter for the second game had not yet been announced as of late Sunday morning.

This will be the fourth start of the season for Keuchel and his third away from Chicago.

Keuchel got a no-decision in his last start Monday against Cleveland in which he gave up three runs on three hits with two strikeouts in five innings.

Keuchel has been abysmal in five career appearances versus Boston.  He is 0-1 with a 9.15 ERA and 14 strikeouts against the Red Sox.

Opposing Keuchel in Game 1 for Boston is rookie Tanner Houck (0-1, 3.00 ERA).

Houck, 24, won all three starts at the end of 2020 and had a 0.53 ERA with 21 strikeouts in 17 innings.
