Anibal Sanchez gave up two runs on three hits and seven walks while striking out nine over 5.2 innings in a win over the A's on Thursday but gave up 7 runs to Cleveland on the 23rd. He is priced at $6700 Wednesday and not a viable DFS option.

Sanchez (2-0 and priced just shy of $8000) collected the victory versus Pittsburgh Tuesday, giving up two runs and four hits in 5 2/3 innings. He took a shutout into the sixth before allowing a two-run homer to Starling Marte.

Sanchez has failed to go beyond the sixth inning in either of his first two starts this season.

He’ll face the Astros on Sunday.  Matt Joyce has gone 5-for-18 against Sanchez with one homerun.  Josh Harrison is 2-for-6 at bats versus Sanchez with a homerun and is just shy of a .300 ERA so far this month.

Sanchez struck out 11 and allowed seven earned runs against the Astros in his lone start facing them last season.  The total was also comign in at 9.  As such he is not recommended for Sunday’s game.
