Blue Jays batters will be in high demand against a Giants team that will start Matt Cain Tuesday night in San Francisco.

Cain (0-4, 7.84) got manhandled for eight runs (six earned) on 10 hits over four innings Thursday en route to a 17-7 loss to the Rockies.

Now he will face a current Blue Jays lineup that has hit 40-of-135 against Cain. Troy Tulowitzki, in particular, is 21-for-64 with five home runs against him while Edwin Encarnacion has gone 4-for-12 against him with a .321 ERA over the past seven days.

Don’t be fooled by Cain’s 9-1 record with a 3.01 ERA in 324 career interleague starts.  That was then, this is now.

The total for this game is 8, but the UNDER is 16-4-2 in Toronto’s last 22 road games.  Cain coming off a win coupled with strong Blue Jays OVER trending (the OVER is 13-5 in the Giants last 18 games overall) would have had us pouncing on the OVER here.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
