Priced at $8600 coming into Wednesday’s game against the Astros, Iwakuma (0-2) allowed two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out three over eight innings, but received no decision Friday at the Angels. (Sat Apr 23).

For the first time this season, he allowed fewer baserunners than innings pitched, and lowered his WHIP to 1.35.

Iwakuma has allowed a mere 29 hits off of 104 at bats versus the current Astros starters with just four home runs over this time.

He’s a -126 favorite vs. Collin McHugh, whose performance against the current Mariners roster is even better than Iwakuma.  As such the UNDER 7.5 should be in play for all you sports bettors out there.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
