The Miami Heat have extended their winning streak to 10 in a row.  The most updated odds for the Heat to win the 2011 NBA Championship at Sportsbook.com were set at +180 for a payout of nearly $200 on a $100 bet.

Miami beat Cleveland at home by a score of 101-95.

Dwyane Wade scored 17 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter, Lebron James added 21 points and a season-high 13 rebounds.

Miami failed in its quest to be the fourth NBA team ever to win 10 straight games by at least 10 points, however.

Meanwhile the Boston Celtics ran their streak up to 11.

Paul Pierce made a tiebreaking jumper with 0.4 seconds left, Amare Stoudemire's 3-pointer at the buzzer was ruled too late, and the Boston Celtics pulled out a thrilling 118-116 victory over the New York Knicks on Wednesday night.

The Celtics odds to win the 2011 NBA Championship were currently set at +220.

Incidentally, the team they beat – the New York Knicks – are finally winning again overall.  They came into this game with a 16-10 record having won 8 of their last 10 games.  The Knicks odds of winning the 2011 NBA Championship are currently set at 20/1.
